Regarded as the quintessence of the soul, the transmission of light is the very wellspring of art’s genesis. “Logos of Light” represents the dual aspects that Lei Shuang has continued to explore through decades of painting: the intrinsic dialogue of the painting’s essence and the life discourse of the soul. For Lei Shuang, the spirit of painting encapsulates the gathering of ephemeral luminescence, the earth’s vitality, the changes of roses, and the individual’s anguish. Throughout the inexorable passage of time, her art unearths and unfolds these manifold layers of radiant folds through various artistic techniques.
