Exhibition Time: December 9, 2018 - January 5, 2019
On December 9, 2018, the latest solo art exhibition “Of the Infinite Mind” by artist Wu Jian’an is officially inaugurated at the Guardian Art Center in Beijing. This exhibition is co-hosted by the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Guardian Art Center, with joint hosting by the Wan Ying Art Museum. Professor Fan Di’an, the President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Vice-President of the China Artists Association, and Chairman of the Beijing Artists Association, provided the academic suggestions for the exhibition, while Ms. Zheng Yan, the Artistic Director of Wan Ying Art Museum, served as the curator.
“Of the Infinite Mind” represents the first large-scale art exhibition project jointly organized by the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Guardian Art Center. It is also another contemporary artists’ creation exhibition following the launch of “Landmark: Mapping Chinese Contemporary Art” by Guardian Art Center. The exhibition aims to organize more than 100 pieces/groups of Wu’s newly created works in seven series through different chapters, presenting his unique path and latest achievements in artistic discourse and visual creation in the Guardian Art Center.
