Chinese Art is our Passion. Our family run business deals in Chinese art, in particular porcelains from the Ming & Qing Dynasties and Han & Tang ceramics. We also have Chinese works of art such as jade, lacquer, bronzes, cloisonné and silver. Chinese art has been traded globally for over 400 years now and has been incorporated in private and museum collections all over the world.

Vanderven was established on the auspicious date 8-8-1968 (year of the monkey) by Clemens van der Ven. In 1993 Floris van der Ven joined the business, after international traineeships with Neuse (Bremen), Kugel (Paris) and Spink's (London), taking over ownership in 2012. We have now built up a reputation as one of the world's leading international dealers in our field, of which we are very proud. As an established company we have built up many excellent contacts over the years, ensuring a steady stream of fresh stock with excellent provenances.
