Intro

Teresa Coleman Fine Arts has been established in Hong Kong since 1982 and is best known for its impressive collection of embroidered costumes and silk textiles. The collection also includes a unique range of costume accessories and domes c ornaments from the Chinese Imperial Court, most of which date to the Qing Dynasty.

Also included are Chinese works of art made for export to the West in the 18th and 19th centuries, such as finely painted and carved fans, silk embroideries, lacquer boxes and paintings, complimenting these are a selection of European maps and engravings portraying a Western view of life in China from the 17th through to the 19th centuries.
