Galerie DUMONTEIL is an Art Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art founded in 1982 in Paris by Mr. Pierre Dumonteil and his wife Dothi. For over 30 years Galerie DUMONTEIL has played a major role in the discovery and rediscovery of the greatest figurative artists from the 20th Century. It regularly organizes important thematic exhibitions as well as retrospectives with museums (“100 Animal Sculptors ” at Musée des Années Trente in 2012, “The Sculptors & the Animal ” at Monnaie de Paris in 1999, Carlo & Rembrandt Bugatti in 1986), or more contemporary exhibitions (Wang Keping in 2012,Eric Pillot in 2012, Jean-Marie Fiori in 2010).
