The exhibition marks the debut of Chinese Traditional Wood Art Research Center which was established in Central Academy of Fine Arts by Tian Jiaqing--a well-known scholar and visiting professor of Central Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibition has a collection of selected works awarded with outstanding furniture design by Central Academy of Fine Arts, a typical presentation of the academic direction of furniture design.
Chinese Traditional Wood Art Research Center shows a combination of research materials and social materials collected by Tian Jiaqing over the decades, in-depth research of Chinese traditional wood art and inheritance and transformation of traditional creation methods.
