Intro

Kai-Yin Lo from Hong Kong is one of Asia’s first international brands. Celebrated as a designer of jewelry, accessories and ceramics, she melds the cultural heritages of East and West and interprets them in original, contemporary and highly wearable and usable ways as expressed in her signature semi-precious jewelry range and her unique “making antique wearable” accessories.

As cultural historian, art specialist and esteemed designer, Kai-Yin Lo has organized landmark ex-hibitions at the British Museum, the China Institute, Asia Society New York and Hong Kong Cen-ter. Her jewelry designs commanding a loyal following have been exhibited at the Kennedy Center,  Palace Museum Beijing and other prestigious venues.

Kai-Yin Lo studied European History at Cambridge and London universities. She is the first Pro-fessor, Cross Culture, of world renowned Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.. Recipient of the Hong Kong Design Centre’s prestigious award, the “World’s Leading Chinese Designer” in 2007, Kai-Yin has also been awarded a Silver Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong Gov-ernment (2009) for her contributions to design.
