Introduction:
Tan Jing Tang is a space full of literary charm. Its owner began collecting in 2002, drawn by the simplicity and exquisite craftsmanship of Ming-style furniture, and guided by seasoned Ming Furniture Collectors. Over more than twenty years, a refined collection system of classical Ming furniture has gradually been established. The owner also collects Zisha teapots, porcelain, bronze furnaces, jade artifacts, and a variety of scholarly items. These collections not only reflect the owner s aesthetic taste but also embody a collecting philosophy: antiquities should be integrated into the daily living environment, allowing history and modernity to merge, and art and life to intertwine in the companionship of antiquities.
Zhanxiang (Buddha Statue Hall) features an antiquities shop and an ancient sculpture museum located in Guangzhou. It serves as a platform for communication, exhibitions, and academic research. Zhanxiang has focused on the art of ancient Chinese lacquer wood and carved figures for over forty years, accumulating rich practical experience and expertise in collecting and research. It has published multiple academic articles in various collecting journals and has organized as well as participated in numerous exhibitions, earning recognition from the academic and collecting communities.
