Intro
Tianqi Tang is an art studio devoted to reviving classic furniture using Chinese traditional tenon and mortise structure, including Ming style and Qing style furniture. It provides bespoke furniture only for a few connoisseurs. Tianqi was the era name of Ming emperor Zhu Youxiao, who brought Chinese classic furniture to its peak. In memory of him, every piece of furniture produced in Tianqi Tang is hand carved with the name of the studio and the date. Tianqi Tang aims to incorporate the Chinese joinery with modern design. Many of its artworks has been acquired by galleries and prominent collectors home and abroad.
