Mr. Mei Shuoheng, vice dean of Shanghai Antique Watches Gallery, is the eldest son of Mei Qiangnian, a prestigious antique watch collector. Mr. Mei took a keen interest in connoisseurship and history of watches in his youth. After graduating from college, he began to help his father translate books about watches and clocks and look for antique watches around the world. He followed in his father's footsteps and is known for his expertise and professionalism in watches and clocks, especial- ly in antique clocks with a history of over 100 years. In order to study watches and clocks, he travelled to United State, Britain, France, Switzerland and many other European countries. Now he serves as the vice dean of Winsor Arch Museum in Macau.
